Toonami India ends it broadcast in India on 15 May.

MUMBAI: Almost three years after launching the channel in India, Turner International India is pulling the plug on its kids channel Toonami from 15 May.
“This is to inform multi system operators and consumers that the TV channel ‘Toonami’ is being shut down 15 May 2018 and will therefore not be available for public viewing with effect from 15 May 2018 (midnight 00:00),” the company said in a public notice.

It is pertinent to note that Toonami has also ceased operations in South East Asia from March-end.
Toonami was the third channel from Turner after Cartoon Network and Pogo.
When it was launched in 2015, the channel was dedicated to bringing high-octane animated action to kids, superhero fans and their families across India.
Toonami, which takes its name from the hit programming block on Cartoon Network in the US, is a 24-hour English action and anime destination designed for viewers seeking a full-tilt, rollercoaster ride of adventure, quips, and drama.
The channel featured franchises such as Batman, Superman, Transformers: Robots in Disguise, Justice League, Inazuma Eleven Go, and Dragon Ball Z.
In July 2017, the channel was revamped as an action humour channel. As part of the revamp, the channel added library content from Warner Bros., Hanna-Barbera, Cartoon Network and MGM.
The channel waswas available on Hathway Cable and Datacom, DEN Networks, GTPL Hathway, Siti Networks, Home Cable and JPR Cable Network. It is also available on direct to home (DTH) platforms Tata Sky and Airtel Digital TV.
